In HIV/AIDS, humankind faces a most powerful adversary. Together, the individuals, foundations, and corporations that contribute to the Red Ribbon Foundation are taking the fight to this enemy, with education, research, and programs that inspire hope and offer loving care to those who need it.
Rally 'round the Red Ribbon
Because red also means "STOP"
Together, we can stop HIV/AIDS
The Red Ribbon Foundation raises money to fight AIDS through a large-scale music-oriented fundraiser held every two years. The proceeds of this event are then awarded as grants to organizations that demonstrate results as well as promising ideas for preventing the spread of AIDS and caring for those with the disease. RRF grants support prevention education programs for high-risk individuals, cutting-edge research to eradicate the disease, and assistance programs for those living with HIV/AIDS.
Join the world's largest AIDS fundraiser, the 2010 AIDS Walk New York in Central Park, May 16th.
In 2009, over 45,000 people walked for AIDS, raising $5.6 million for Gay Men's Health Crisis, and many other HIV/AIDS organizations, including two RRF grantees: Camp Viva in Westchester, and Friend's House in NYC. Learn more.
